2020 Update
We have faced unforeseen challenges this year, nonetheless we are working towards boarding the Big Lift bus again at the end of the semester so keep an eye out on our social media platforms for applications.
NEWS UPDATES
Semester 2 is well underway with plenty of events for you to join in on. Congratulations goes to the winners of our 2020 trivia... 1st place: Eisenhower Imbecilles 2nd place: Cerberus 3rd place: Dynasty We hope those who attended our online movie night (the Sapphires) enjoyed the lip syncing and the commentary throughout the film. On the 2nd of September it was Indigenous Literacy day. Watch this video for more details and to watch the livestream of Jessica Mauboy singing "My Island Home". On Saturday the 19th of September we went to the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art for some Indigenous Art viewing. |
EVENTS
On Monday the 21st of September we have modified picnic to suit government regulations (keep an eye out on our FB page for that) On Thursday the 24th of September we have a movie night (it'll be in person this time and it'll be big - get keen) On Thursday and Friday the 1st and 2nd of October members of Big Lift are invited to volunteer at the Murri Netball Carnival. If your wanting to attend please fill out the EOI form :) |
