QUT BIG LIFT

The first ever QUT BIG LIFT departed in November 2011.

Click on the links below to find out more about our amazing journey in each of these Queensland communities.

Cherbourg

Picture
Our first stop! Gardening, tree planting and rubbish removal to kick things off!

Eidsvold

Picture
We were busy bees here! Our many projects included gardening, renovating, landscape designing and OptiMinds activities at the school!

Theodore

Picture
Theodore was still feeling the devastating effects of the 2011 floods. Our small contribution helped to restore some of the town's gardens and landscapes.

Agnes Water

Picture
Our celebration city!! Surfing and sight seeing on QLD most northern surfing beach.

Bundaberg

Picture
Stopping off for a mini Amazing Race and some Random Acts of Kindness! Sharing the Big Lift Spirit!

Mon Repos

Picture
Getting up close and personal to the Aussie wild life, our Big Lifters were luck enough to see a turtle laying her eggs at the Mon Repos Conservation Park!
