QUT BIG LIFT

EIDSVOLD

We spent our second night at the Eidsvold Show Grounds thanks to the hospitality of a number of Eidsvold's community groups. After a big morning of projects a night of fun and music was welcomed. We were afforded the opportunity to speak to a member of the local community who advocated to the group the good they do and the potential for programs such as ours in future years among the children and community of Eidsvold and other rural and remote communities.

From Eidsvold we continued on to Cania Gorge National Park where we enjoyed some lunch. Cania Gorge is home to stunning views of natural sandstone cliffs, caves and both eucalyptus and rain forests. Not to mention all of the native wildlife.

The group spent the afternoon taking in the sights and, wandering the trails and exploring the caves (a few even braved a swim in the stream). The Big Lifters then departed, bound for Moura.
